The Intersection: February

Join MOCAD and Science Gallery Lab Detroit for a dialogue between physicists connected to Michigan State University’s Facility for Rare Isotope Beams, and composers and photographers working with computer-generated sound, graphics, and photographs of light. From the vibrations, patterns, and rhythms of music to how the physics of light relates to photographs that feature light as their sole subject, this talk will explore concepts and relationships found in physics, many of them stranger than science fiction, and explore how those concepts might work their way into art.
